Abstract


Gene editing is a broad study that has become increasingly popular over the last few years. With the world’s population continuously increasing, problems such as world hunger begin to increase. With studies using genome editing to genetically modify crops to provide more substantial nutrition and increasing crop value, problems such as these can hopefully be solved. In this chapter we will cover the basic concepts of genome editing and the links between these studies and our everyday lives
