Abstract

DNA damage is oftten caused by exposure to certain chemical agents or ultraviolet radiations. Self corection of the genome is one of the natural remedies to get rid of major mutaions with in the cell. DINO, a lncRNA that helps stabilizing the p53 tumor supressor protein, the positve feedback loop of the cell cycle turns out to be more efficient. This RNA molecule holds the ability to rectify the genomic mutaion with in the nucles of the cell.
