Lignocellulose Biodegradation

Abstract

Plants have been an integral part of the ecosystem on this earth. They contain certain important nutrients that are basic macro molecular nutrients to other ecosystems. Releasing back these nutrients is essential. However today man has learned skills to convert this plant debris into useful fuel called the bio fuel. the conversion of lignocellulose to bio-ethanol is an enzyme based activity carried out  by an anaerobic fungus.
