Abstract

A disease is a disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, that produces signs and symptoms or that effects a specific location and is not always a direct result of physical injury. There are four main types of diseases: infectious, deficiency, hereditary (both genetic and non-genetic), and physiological diseases.
