The Differentiating Levels of Osmotic Pressure with Carbon Sources and the resulting Effect on Raphanus sativus

Abstract


Radish plants were grown in varying treatment groups to identify the effect of sugar water and light on the growth of the plants in relation to osmotic pressure and Carbon sources. They concluded higher levels of sugar solute caused osmotic pressure on the plants, in higher light levels the photosynthesis process occurred at faster time rates resulting in the plants growing at a faster rate and if the plants were unable to absorb the particles of sugar the plant died unable to undergo the osmosis process.
