OSU Professors and Students are first to have a Bacterium’s Genome Sequenced

Abstract


Being the first to discover something in the science field is always an amazing feat no matter how small, literally! Professors and students at Oklahoma State University recently had the genome of Chryseobacterium sp. Hurlbut01 sequenced. This was the first time this particular strain of bacteria had been isolated and had its genome sequenced.
