Marijuana Usage while Pregnant

Abstract

Marijuana is a plant base drug used to for medical and recreational purposes. Marijuana have been known to help people who have really bad pain anywhere in their body. People who have cancer have stated that taking the drug help ease the pain that is being caused by chemotherapy. Using any type of drug during pregnant is not recommended and should not happen. People are wondering if Marijuana would have the same effect on the baby like other drugs. During pregnancy mothers experience a tremendous amount of pain. Taking major narcotics can cause a lot of harm to the baby, even causing the infant to be born on drugs after birth. Doing drugs while pregnant can cause birth defects or even termination of the baby. Drugs have been known to cause birth defects like teratogen. Teratogen is a defect causing abnormality in the birth of a baby due to drugs.
