The restaurant inside your colon

Jamie Biggerstaff

Abstract

Imagine for a moment that you want to go out to a restaurant to eat after a long day. You are looking for something that you like and avoiding things that you don’t while also attempting to avoid overcrowded restaurants. You are quite tired, and simply desire to be served a tasty meal. You select a restaurant you like, check if it can accommodate you and finally eat some food. If it was good, you will make sure to come back in the future. This scenario is an ordinary one for most people, but it’s ordinary for your gut bacteria, too.
