The Levels of pH affecting life of algae and the levels of dissolved oxygen.

Emaleigh Pennington, Justin Agan

Abstract

In this investigation we are trying to find the different levels of DO in the different levels of pH and how they affect each other. We conducted an experiment using three different tubes of Dolese creek water that contained acid water a Control and base water. We measured each level of DO and pH in each container we than added milk to each of them. After we added the milk to each of them we re-record the levels of each to see an effect of another solution. The results supported our hypothesis all the way through this experiment and giving us good results. All in all the higher pH levels in water the more dissolved oxygen will be in the water.
