Rapid Metabolic Rate of the 3 Micekateers

Abstract

This experiment was based around the idea of how fast the metabolic activity reacts to a new environment. We placed a mouse inside of  its thermal neutral zone (TNZ) and then moved it to a colder environment to observe how fast the changes in metabolic activity took place, and if there was a slow rise or rapid spike. We found that there was a rapid change in metabolic activity in the colder environment.
