Out of the Dark: Effects of Light Color on Metabolic Rates in Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches

Abstract

We decided to study this because we already knew that red light affected nocturnal organisms and their metabolic rates, and we wanted to see how different colors would also affect the same organisms. In this manuscript we explained our methods used and results after testing the cockroaches in three separate rounds.
