Abstract

There are several variables that affect mating behaviors among guppies. One of them we will observe is how the brighter color of the guppies affects the mating behaviors displayed by the male guppy. When following the methods we observed that the guppy spent more time and demonstrated more mating behaviors to the brighter color of plastic fish when compared to our control that was a normal gray plastic guppy. Our results show that the male guppy preferred the brighter plastic guppies.
