Abstract

We are looking at male guppy courting behaviors when exposed to 3D guppy models of different colors. We inserted models of different colors into the tank and viewed the amount of time spent near each model along with the mating behaviors. A warm color model will attract more mating behaviors because guppies naturally select for brighter colors. The red model was the most courted by the male guppy.
