How do female guppies choose their mates?

Abstract

Guppies come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes, and the males attempt to court the females by using various displays.  As a group, we were curious to see what features in female guppies attract the most males. The experiment that followed this question involved using models with the various features to see which one would garner the most mating signals. Our research will aid the research of other scientists.
