Temperature Effects on Metabolic Rates of White Mice

Abstract

The topic of this paper examines how metabolic rates of endotherms are influenced by temperature. The question being examined is how does the production of CO2 fluctuate within different temperature ranges? Many scientists and researchers have taken to this question through investigations with metabolic rates in endotherms. We study how temperature changes influence metabolic rates in endotherms, specifically mice. Our question was explored through experiments on mice and our results summarize how an endotherms metabolic rate, or CO2 production, changes in different temperature settings
