Abstract

(background info) For this experiment, we wanted to see how yeast is affected in varying temperatures. We chose to measure this through the percentage of ethanol that is released in temperatures at 0 degrees Celsius, room temperature (24 degrees Celsius), and 37 degrees Celsius. We predicted the amount of ethanol would increase as temperature increases.  The increase in ethanol production of the heated group proved our hypothesis correct.
